With age, the eyes lose their ability to see as clearly as in younger years. This is linked to the health of the central part of the eye – called the macula. This color spot is responsible for central, accurate vision and light absorption. But over time, it loses color pigments and our vision suffers. Luckily, we can find color pigments in foods like carrots, blueberries and dark green vegetables.
