Cinnamon sticks are flavorful and fun in mulled drinks and teas. (Serve
each cup with its own cinnamon swirler.) Or combine them with allspice,
cloves and ginger to make your own mulling spice. Ceylon cinnamon, also known as "sweet" or "true" cinnamon, has a mild, sweet taste perfect for drinks, cooking, and herbal formulations. One of our favorite uses for Cinnamomum verum is in cinnamon tea.
In
addition to being a delicious cooking spice, Cinnamon is excellent for
balancing blood sugar, improving digestion, and easing menstrual cramps.
