This hand-made rarity has its origin in a garden near the river Hiki in the district of Wakayama. Fascinating are the long pine-needle-shaped dark green leafs. The infusion is light yellow, very clear with the typical fresh grass scent and an intensive highly aromatic taste.

Due to its antioxidant properties, Gyokuro tea is known for being a very efficient in fighting free radicals and reducing the risk of tumors. It strengthens the immune system and fights harmful bacteria and cancer. The shading process provides the Gyokuro tea with theanine and caffeine. This tea has a delicious, fresh spring green taste.
